Why this Summit matters
FiCS 2027 comes at a pivotal time as countries navigate a challenging geopolitical and economic environment. It provides a unique platform to mobilize PDBs and partners to deliver scalable, innovative solutions and strengthen coordination across the global financial architecture. Held for the first time in Asia-Pacific, the Summit will shed light on the region’s experience and demonstrate how country-led multilateralism can help accelerate sustainable, inclusive growth.
It will focus on 3 areas:
Mainstream Nature Positive Solutions into Sustainable Development
Accelerating Finance into Adaptation & Resilience
Strengthening Energy Security with Clean Energy Expansion
A growing global movement
Building on five previous summits, FiCS continues to bring the Public Development Bank community together to turn commitments into action.

About FiCS
The global network of Public Development Banks, gathering in Asia for the first time.
The global network of Public Development Banks
Finance in Common is the global movement bringing together all 550+ Public Development Banks (PDBs) in the world – encompassing international, regional, national, and subnational institutions – and their partners. Collectively, these PDBs manage $23 trillion in assets, representing over 10% of global investments each year. Its objective is to strengthen partnerships among PDBs to accelerate the convergence towards shared standards and best practices, to support banks’ commitments to shift their strategies towards sustainability, and to formulate practical, data-driven proposals to support sustainable development financing.

Delivering Growth for Sustainable Asia and Beyond
With FiCS being held in Asia for the first time, the 2027 Summit will highlight the region’s development priorities and draw from its experience to mobilize PDBs to deliver innovative, scalable financing solutions for sustainable development across the world.
